    Hi everyone!

We will be having our wedding in Cancun Feb of next year and will be there for a week.
We are looking for abother hotel in the Riviera Maya area to spend a few days as a honeymoon.

I feel like I have looked through so many pictures and reviews, I wanted to get suggestions from those of you that have stayed there and any interesting activities there are to do... besides the obvious honeymoon activity.Click the image to open in full size.

    Thank you!

Well David and I stayed at the Moon Palace for our honeymoon...that's in Cancun. But I was going to say that all of the Palace resorts (all of them are AI I think) seem to get really good reviews. I know they have one in Playa that supposed to be really nice. We ran into some other honeymooners in the airport and they stayed there - said they LOVED it. Definitely worth looking into - we're hoping to check it out one day for ourselves!!

Anyway, Go to Palace Resorts - Welcome to the Official Site and see if they have one you might be interested in. :-)

Also, my hair stylist is having her wedding in Playa - this week I think! I'll see where she stayed and let you know how she liked it.

I heard the Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun was a great place. It's an adults only resort and there are rooms where you can swim out from, right into your own little private pool.

I've heard fabulous things about the Maroma Resort in the Riviera Maya. The resort is small (65 rooms) and the beach is beautiful, I saw it on one of those Travel Channel specials and it was ranked the #1 hotel (I think the category was best beaches?)

          It looks amazing too:

The great thing about the Palace Resorts (though some other chains may do this too) is you can register for honeymoon things on their website (eg. massage, lobster sunset cruise, etc.) We are doing part of our honeymoon at Cozumel Palace, part at El Dorado Royale.
