Paradisus Palma Real...Really Worried!

Recommended Posts

OMG!!!  Brides!! Please Do not worry about this resort. I just got back last Sunday night from my wedding and honeymoon at PPR and I just have to said "IT WAS THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. Also. don't worry about the Romance team, these people know what they are doing.  We have 60 guests including us and the romance team and hotel staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. They never said "no" to us, they made all our crazy requests come true. All our guests kept thanking me for choosing such a beautiful and clasic resort. Most of our guests stayed with us for the wedding day and after. So we basically party for an entire week. Here are some photos from my family and guests's cameras. I don't have my professional photos yet, but I am promising to share them with you once they are ready, so you can have an idea of how the resort looks.

Thank you NeveWhite,

Sure, Here are my advices for all the future PPR brides:

-Have an idea of how you want to look like for the day of your wedding: Make sure to bring a photo (s) of your inspiration hairstyle and a photo (s) of your inspiration make up so there would be not any confusions between you and the stylist – your wedding day is not the time for any confusion for your hair or make-up. You are going to have tons of other stuff to worry about.

Very important: Bring you own make-up!!!! They do not carry all type of makeup; plus when you get back to your room, If you ended up not liking the make-up or your want to fix it a little (like I did) you will be prepared.

-Schedule a makeup trial back at your home before you travel so youâ€ll know how to explain to the stylist at the spa. Also, if you can, schedule a makeup trial with the spa before your wedding day so you able to feel the chemistry between you and the spa stylist. Thatâ€s what I did. I had a makeup trial with the spa for my rehearsal dinner and before travelling to PPR,  For my bachelorette party back in late March, I hired a make-up artist and she showed how to apply my makeup and how to prepare my skin for the wedding; plus, she wrote down everything I needed to buy.  Trust me; I am very glad I did this. Now I am not only learned how to apply my makeup for the wedding but also I was able to look great for the entire honeymoon!

-Another advice; DONâ€T cut back on the photographer. You want to hire somebody that is able to catch the beautiful you, all the special moments, emotions and details! Believe me; you donâ€t want to worry whether or not you photos are going to come back beautiful. Plus a wedding is just one day (the lucky we with destination weddings are able to stretch the moment a little longer) but photos are forever!!!! I have friends that made the mistake and hired a photographer without doing their research, needed to say, they wedding photos came out horrible.

-We loved everything about PPR and we cannot wait to go back next year, but the only thing about the resort is that we didnâ€t like was making dinner reservation…Itâ€s horrible, especially for a big group! So my advice, once you get there and when you able to, make sure to reserve all your dinners at the a la carte restaurants in one shot.  Youâ€ll be thankful.

-And finally, on your wedding day, make sure to relaxed and have fun!!! Enjoy to the fullest and donâ€t sweat the minor stuff.

Please let me know if any of you have more questions, I will be happy to response  =)

I agree with Dania....don't worry ladies. Dania and I got married 2 days apart and actually got a chance to meet. I actually watched a bit of her wedding :) and if you think the pictures are stunning, you should have seen her in person. :)

Dania's sound advice about bringing pictures and makeup for the makeup artist at the spa is on point. Dania fared better than I did. I did bring pictures and my make up turned out horrible - I ended up washing my face and doing it myself - I also had to fix my hair. My low, messy side chignon turned into 80's prom style spiral curls. Nothin that a whole bunch of back combing and pins couldn't remedy. But I did come prepared and knew exactly what to do in regards to my makeup so I wasn't too upset with having to do it over again.

The ceremony set up and the dinner were flawless - my only complaints were that we were supposed to have a chocolate cake but instead we got vanilla - no biggie really. But we also never received our "breakfast in bed" the next morning that was included in our package which was a little disappointing but we made the best of it.

I give her 5 Stars and then some! Thank you for making my day amazing!
    • Did you have to contact photo editing services?
    • I purchased a suit from Studio Suits in spring 2019.  I looked around everywhere because I was looking for a specific color which wasn't easy to find, so when I found it on their website I read all the info on their website where they claim to deliver high quality suits, premium material, great tailoring, etc. It couldn't be more false. First of all the company is from INDIA and you won't find out until you receive the package. You order from Stu Suits and receive the package from Harry Suits. I received a suit that was at least two sizes bigger, the shoulders where different one from another, the hamming on the ankles was visible and poorly done. The quality of the fabric was extremely mediocre. The lining looked and felt cheap, no attention to details and no mention anywhere of the kind of material.  When I placed the order I did not receive any welcoming email, but simply one stating my measurements were  not correct and I needed to pay for a trial suit 99$. I re took the measurements and confirmed them. They simply replied saying "all sales are final". When I placed the order they said it would take them 6 weeks to deliver the "custom made suit". I received it within ten days, why? because it wasn't custom at all. I can't stress enough how bad the quality of their product and service is. There are so many other services that can deliver so much better quality for less than what this con company asks for. Hope this can help you folks
