Thanks primavera :-) Do you have any pix of your ring? I like vintage... sounds lovely x

Just wanted to share this with you ladies.

Blue Nile is an excellent website for getting your ring. They have excellent prices, excellent material and no state sales tax! All the jewelry comes with certification and free shipping. I appraised and insured my engagement ring for 20% more of what my fiance had paid.

very pretty Cherazi, I love blue nile!

I'm taking my dress in tomorrow to see how much it's going to cost me in alterations, and to see if this person can even alter it.  Sometimes I wish the store I had purchased it at had in-store alterations so I didn't have to go shop around.  I'm undecided on where to have them hem it to though, I'm really short...like barely 5'2 so I have 2inch flip flops to wear and 4 inch heels to dance in to make me and FI's height gap a little better for pics.  I don't really want them to hem it to the 4inch heel size though since I"ll be barefoot for the ceremony.  Do you think it'll look stupid when I put the heels on if I have them do it to the 2 inch flops?

I don't think it will look stupid at all. If you like your heels, you would want them to show :) I have the same dilemma, and I have decided to alter my dress for the flip flops because I will wear them for the longest period of time (reception and dancing cheer2.gif), so it will be a little long for the ceremony (we are barefoot as well, yay!) and my awesome purple heels will show slightly for the photos!

Hi TLGnhci,

My FI and I are flying out of BWI non-stop on AirTran. We got 2 non-stop tickets on 05/25 for a total of $414.90, and then our total price for the 2 non-stop tickets coming back was $432.08. So the grand total was $846.98 just for airfare!   I think my parents are on a really early flight out, something like 0600 that same day, it connects in Miami, and they are coming back the same way.  I will try to find out how much that one costs.  They will actually arrive a couple of hours before us, despite their layover.  It's crazy because 3 years ago I went to Dreams Tulum, including airfare for 5 nights for $850.  I don't know what is going on with the airfare to Mexico.

Has anyone booked their airfare yet?  Am I crazy for hoping for nonstop from Maryland to Cancun for under $350.00?  I found the perfect flight now for $417, but am hoping it will come down a bit.  Thoughts???

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
