SarahBen2011 Sarah Nov. 15th Nov. 18th Mexico - PV I need to get cracking on my OOT bag assembly! What type of bags are you using for your "wedding survival / health kit"?? I've seen a lot of people use glad bags and print out a card stock label for the top... has anyone else done anything else...?

That is what I am doing.  Already printed out the cute little label that says Wedding Week Survival Kit and I'll just stick them on the plastic bag.

I think this is up-to-date.  If someone is missing go ahead and add yourself in.

Hello lovely ladies,

I know it's been discussed at different points about music playlists for the reception (broken down into dinner and party!!), but wondering if anyone has actually got theirs done? I have a million small things to do which I am tackling one by one, but in the back of my head I know this is the daunting one HUGE thing I still need to get going on. Every time I try to start I end up running in the opposit direction, LOL!!

It seems like a lot of people are thinking Sinatra and that style for dinner, but even though I don't want "party" music I wanted something upbeat so people would be tapping their feet under the table and ready to get groving after dinner. What are you plans?

Thanks,

Joanne

These are my dinner tunes so far... I'm struggling with the dance music because most of our group is older, but I still want everyone to have fun and dance!

I feel the same way.  I think about it all the time and it stresses me out and its the one thing I always complain about to FI that we need to get done.  Seems so difficult to me for some reason.  We have separate itunes so we would have to go thru all our songs, combine the ones we want, separate them out into playlists, and so on.  Definitely seems daunting.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
