Queen Diva-  Happy Birthday! What a fun day for a birthday:)

Lua-   Great logo!  You made that on Illustrator?  Hmmmm...I may have to play around a bit on it.

Meggers & Kathy- Keep us posted on your extensions...I've always been interested in trying them for special occasions to give my hair more depth.

Brandy-  Did you get a bunch of that LONG list done?

We put our invites together last night (and I forgot to buy stamps so we couldn't mail them out yet....grr).  I'm pleased with how they turned out.  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to my April ladies!  I'm on call today so I'm stuck at the hospital until tomorrow at 7am.  Bleh.  We celebrated last night, but I still wish I didn't have to be an hour away from him tonight.  53 days to Maui, 53 days to Maui, 53 days to Maui....

Has anyone ordered any nicer leather flip flops for their FI's to wear?  I looked back at this thread but don't think anyone had mentioned it.  It's hard to keep up!:)

Oh, and is anyone making their guest book with pics of themselves?  If so, where?  I'm not the slightest bit crafty so any help you can throw my way would be awesome.  Thanks ladies!

UPDATE on my AHR situation...

If you guys recall, FI and I had a not-so-hot discussion about our AHR with his parents last weekend... I felt like crap after it.  Anyway, we were at there place Saturday for FIL's bday. On the way home, FI told me that his dad actually pulled him aside and apologized for their behaviour towards us and our ideas. He then told FI that the only reason the were pushing us to invite all of their friends to our AHR is because they'll give us $$$$$. (I'm not going to lie, $ for FI and I could be amazing because we're so tight finance wise right now) .. Anyway, FI's dad told him that they would be willing to pay for the whole AHR if we held it at the local polish hall (his fam is Polish). I guess he told FI that they understand we don't want the dance and speeches and stuff, but want people to get a good meal. SO.... that being said, we're considering it... providing that I don't have to do the reception "IN" the hall, but under a tent on the grounds.  I'm more open towards the idea knowing that FI's parents would be willing to pay!

Laura, that's exciting about the AHR.  At least FFIL was able to pull your FI aside and apologize and explain things.  Considering it is a good option, at least you know that if you do it, you won't have to worry about the cost.  I hope you guys are able to find a middle ground!

Brandy, I'm sorry to freak you out.  Just know that most of you are doing much more than me.  I've taken a lot of the personalization's out.  We are not doing anything special for centerpieces, we are not doing any of the parasol's.  I do still have some stuff to do, but it mostly focuses around music....  I've got the list narrowed down, I just have to look at it a little bit more and then figure out how to get all of the songs.  Between my Excel To-Do-List and my own...  I have about 30 things left to do, altogether....

Oh, and I know I've mentioned this already, but....I'm getting (legally) married in less than 4 hours......yea, it's been a really awkward day!

Oh I also failed to mention that, after going to the doctor's this morning, I found that I have lost 5 lbs in the last month and a half.  That was exactly what I needed to get myself back in the gym today!  I've missed the last two weeks (because I've been slacking).  FI wasn't happy (to say the least) about getting a treadmill over the weekend...so I'm going to buckle down and get rolling with things a little more!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
