Thanks Girls! I have no worries about his ex, he's all mine and I know it. It was more of a worry that he's seen it all (and better!) before. She was modelling the whole time they were together so he's seen tons of pro BD images but if I'm rational I know that he's never seen BD of ME and that is something totally different!

 

Mocha I hear you on the GM's. My FI's friends are the WORST!!! Full payment is due next week and some of them haven't even put down deposits yet!! They keep holding out for a "better deal". Hello idiots...the resort it sold out! No deals are happening, seriously. And the worst part is my friends have been booked in for months, and  have already paid in full. My friends are 10 years younger than his friends and living in a city where the cost of living is WAY more expensive and yet his friends are bitching about the price and are acting like 2 years olds. This isn't never never land gents... at some point you need to GROW UP! lol! Sorry.... that's my vent.

No I sent it to my friends PO box in Detroit. FI is from Windsor and goes down to visit often, so he can just grab my stuff for me. It saved me almost $200!!!! (The promo code for the $75 is no good for Canadian orders) plus they wanted almost $100 for shipping and handling! Just crazy. I love Canada but I hate being Canadian somtimes. We get jipped.

Hi Lua, I was going to do the same... look out for groupons in your area, that might make the BD pics more afordable.  I paid $54 for mine last week and I get 2 pic with a cd. So I'm just going to get a nice frame for the 2 pics and send that to him the morning of the wedding.

Lua I think that's great. It really is about the sentiment after all. Maybe just clear with him to make sure he isn't getting something for you!

he already has the BD pics on a cd (they were his anniversary gift last yr) so if i can't end up affording a book, i'm ok with that.

 

too bad the free shipping from VS isn't for canada too!!! i'm dying for that 'emily' coverup, but with the shipping it's almost $50! which in my mind, is too much to spend when i need bathing suits still too!!! ..maybe i can find something similar around here :)

As long as we've been together we've made the decision to not make v-day a big deal.. no gifts or anything as it's just another day. As sappy as it sounds, we live by the fact that why should we celebrate a 'day of love' when we can make the effort to make every day a 'day of love' ;) LOL it sounds even cheesier when I write it down!

 

Anyway, to my point - FI sends me a msg yesterday "No more shopping until after monday because I bought you something for v-day!" .. my response was something along the lines of "seriously??" lol

I have a question about Groupons....since I'm new to it as of like....Tuesday.  There isn't one for my area, the closest one is Albany, NY.  Can I still order stuff from the Albany, NY one?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
