Dreams Cancun - New Beach

This is extremely disappointing. The reason I chose Dreams Cancun for my wedding is because of the beautiful view of the gazebo, surrounded by water. Now all you see is ugly rock on the side. Does anyone have recent pictures of the gazebo with the new beach?

While I do agree that the view has changed, those pictures are both taken from different angles. And I think you can position yourselves so that you have the water in the background for your ceremony & pictures.

If you go to Slideshows | Weddings taken for Juan Navarro .... one of the newer slideshows (tabithakeith if you scroll over it and look at the address on the bottom.... looks like the 7th video) has the rocks in the background... when you are eye level with the ground, it's not bad, it's really the birds eye view that is ruined.... which sucks a lot, but is not the end of the world (at least for me). This beginning of the slideshow has the front view of the gazebo from the Isle, and you really don't see the rocks until the far right... some of the other angles have it more rocks, but I was mostly concerned about dead center, which seems better than I originally thought.

I know the rocks change things, but imo it looks just as pretty as before. If you look at the pictures the others posted, the ceremony pictures in the gazebo don't look much different than before. I'm personally really excited for the huge new beach for me and my guests to enjoy!

Thanks for all your replies. I guess it is not as bad as I originally thought. Looking at the other pictures, it's okay. It is not as pretty as before though.

Thanks for posting that link....I've been waiting for pictures to surface!!!!

Its not THAT bad, although not as good.

But, like someone else said, we are having our reception on the beach, and so I think it will actually be much better for that purpose....I hope!
