I am HOPING to start my 2nd round of P90X next Monday!!! A co-worker has my copies, and I've been all but begging her to meet up so I can get them back :oP
Sharon: DEFINITELY don't worry about any 2-3lb gain. I freaked (maybe in week 2-3?) after gaining like 3 lbs, and then read on the beach body forum that it is normal because of muscle inflamation. Once you get a little further in, your muscles should get a little more use to it and the fluxuation should stop.
Mandy -- Yoga IS torture :oP Towards the end my friend and I started subbing it out too. All I can try to suggest, is that in the beginning, TRY to fight out at least the first 1/2 of the video. In this program Tony stresses the importance of Yoga in the routine, and even suggests you do it at least once a week after the program is over. There is definitely a reason that pro sports players even go to yoga! (I had eagles players show up to a class I was at in Philly one time). I have a firm belief that a lot of yoga lies in your head. I'm guilty of this too!!! .. but if you start yoga out with the "I really dont want to do this" attitude, it is going to be torture and feel like its lasting forever. If its honestly something you hands down do NOT want to do or do not enjoy though, definitely substitute something! Working out in general is better than never at all, right!? )
