I’m another one not really into strippers mainly because there aren’t any really good ones around here. Ha ha! I’m not having a bachelorette party, but I was thinking about having a slumber party one night at my house with my friends. When I’m in Mexico I was thinking about having the ladies get together for tea time at the resort the day before to just relax and chat.

cjb0rder13... Fingers crossed for you that the prices come down, from what your saying they will so its all good... its just so frustrating waiting isnt it!!!

fsuambs... I was a member of another wedding forum (technically still am) but havent been on it since ive joined here as its just not the same, plus i was the only one having a destination wedding so i didnt really fit in as no-one had the same ideas or was going through the same thing, if you know what i mean.....

Linhy... your dress is beautiful.... i do get wedding dress envy when i see all your beautiful dresses :-) Cant wait to get mine!! Im just a lover of Maggie Sottero dresses and am so so glad i found "my" dress in her collection. :-)

Michelle2011... I was thinking of maybe going to Newcastle for the weekend or something for my hen night then my friends from up here and my friends from back home can all come, as i think it may be a bit to expensive to have one here, one in Warrington and one in Mexico as like you the ladies will get together when were over there a night or 2 before the wedding.... Coz its not really something id thought of until the other day i need to plan this in... i think this weekend i will make myself a list of stuff organise.. and prioratise (spelling?) like rings, AHR (this will be the hardest with the long distance thing) and hen night etc.... my stressing myself out so much this week thinking about to much!!!!

Like a few of you ladies, i dont mind strippers but id rather go without on my hen night i think..... I think it would be a laugh though!!! :-)

CeeCee76... your sister has some sound advice, i went mad in the begining with wedding mags, so pointless.... and im sticking to this site lke glue... I love it!!

prettypigpig... thats great info you've passed on about the $99 dresses... like you say a fab price for a TTD shoot if your having one!!! If i was having a TTD i would defo do this as i dont think i could bear to T "THE" D :-)

Actually thats one thing im looking forward to for the AHR... I get to wear the dress again... Whoop Whoop!!!!!

Has anyone gotten confirmation from the riu palace riviera maya for a 2011 date? I still have not heard anything and it is starting to stress me out big time! I don't want to swtich locations, but it would be nice to have some sort of confirmation and deposit! Looking to see where others stand in getting confirmation for 2011 dates.

Nicyx - It sounds like you have an idea in your head of what you want for your hen. It sounds fun too... It's hard sometimes pleasing everybody but you are going out of your way to think of others. So sweet of you!

I am amazed at the things you can do/take on a destination wedding. My head is buzzing to! So much to think about and take in.

We like you will probably try and sort the AHR this weekend. Well pick a definate place at least ha ha!

This site helps so much though! I am addicted to my "bride buddies" :o)

I'm with you all the way Nicy. I could not T "The" D! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
