Getting Married at Beaches T&C Aug 2010

Recommended Posts

I have my suite and butler booked for 8 days in August and this is my second wedding. I have 4 children 6 to 15 and we are all very excited. Not sure how many guests we will have but it will be small, thinking around 20. I want to keep the ceremony simple and do not like the MS options. Not sure what to do for after the wedding. The entire idea of going away was to keep it simple for us and we really splurged on our suite and butler for the week rather then on a few hours but still want it to be nice. Looking for other Beaches Brides, past and future to share advice!!

HI Michelle,

We are getting married in May there as well, and we are going directly thru our travel agent for all the arragements. I have spoken to Monica once. Our planning has been going well and we hope to have everything squared away by the end of Feb. We have about 60 people booked... The only negative I can say is the airfare/flights.

Happy Planning!!!

HI Michelle! Im getting married at Beaches T&C in 13 days! We leave a week from today. If you book through beaches directly you will only talk to Monica about everything wedding related. As your date gets closer you will hear from her more and more. PM me for more details. We arent going with MS packages either. Beautiful beginnings and the free reception and then out to eat with everyone coming... which is 21 people. We are really excited. Hope you are too! talk soon!

Meagan, are you guys going off resort for dinner or staying on site?

Michelle, you live so close to me & Kelly who are both getting married in May @ beaches T&C, we should have a party, ha! We are taking a few decorations but I decided, because of money, that my pictures were more important to me than my decorations so I am using Tropical Images to do my photos the day before the wedding (only because of time on the wedding day). We are so excited for the wedding!

OMG, MEAGAN!!!! Your wedding is sooooo soon -- I couldn't be more excited for you and I'm psyched it's your turn to become a Mrs.!!

And speaking of Beaches Turks and Caicos, the resort looks just phenomenal, so ALL of your Beaches Brides-to-be have made a fantastic decision! Only reason I picked Sandals is because we were hoping to keep our celebration adult-only -- otherwise, it would have been Beaches T & C all the way! :)

Girasole lives in Harrisburg and will I soon too. My FI and I are buying a house within the next couple of weeks! It is a very very small world!

Michelle and I are planning to get together sometime after my wedding (May 14th) so I can share my successes and failures (hopefully not too many of those). You're welcome to join too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
