I'm very sorry about your mother, I can't imagine how difficult that must be Considering the circumstances, I think the letter is PERFECTLY fine.

Good luck with everything, and I wish you and your family the best..

What type of cancer was she diagnosed with? If you need anything at all, PM me at any time. It's easy to say all that stay strong stuff but I have gone through what you're going through and I know its alot easier said then done, so I wont say it. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and you're family and if you have questions, need to vent or anything message me.

I am so sorry to hear this! For what it is worth, my Dad has battled cancer twice in the past few years, his latest diagnosis was fall of 2007. He was only given a few months to a year, but here we are in 2009, planning a wedding for early 2011 and I have very intention of having my currently cancer FREE father walk me down the isle (god willing) .

So, keep the faith, stay positive, and certainly do send your guests a letter to inform them of your altered plans to celebrate love and life (I love that!!)!

Best of luck to you and your Mom. Please feel free to PM me. I would be happy to talk with you any time!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! I would think a letter should be just fine.
