For all the brides having an Orange and Fuchsia Colour Theme

Recommended Posts

I got the February issue of Brides magazine in the mail a couple days ago and it has these awesome frames in it that i thought would be great for table numbers and our sign for the cake table that will say something about taking a slice of cake for later if the guest want since our reception dinner includes an actual dessert also... only problem is the frames are $55 each... not sure if i can justify that, hoping i can find something similar at like target or something

Cute! If you're a DIY-er you could probably find similar frames in white and paint them for much cheaper.

I love the cake boxes.  I'm going to have to steal that idea!

I had a ton of photos in files and I will see if I can dig up DIY programs, menus and cake boxes. I wasn't thrilled with my flowers because I didn't get the bouquet I requested, BUT it WAS still pink and orange. LOL

I used plain white cake boxes and bought a bunch of different scrap book paper. I cut them to fit the boxes and printed my monogram on a nice thick paper. Glued those on top. Really inexpensive!

Sign that went next to the cake and boxes.

And in action... lol

Menus-

Orange and fushia cardstock. Printed on the same ivory, shimmery paper as the cake boxes and secured with a brown brad just for a fun detail.

Programs constructed the same way:

I will try to see if I can find the template for these. Naturally the monogram can't be used, but the orange flower design at the bottom can be used if anyone is interested.

Thank you tags that I attached to mini tequila bottles with rafia for the men and wrapped ribbon around pashminas for the ladies with these on top.

Used a thank you stamp on the other side.

Sorry no pic in action... I bought the tequila in MX and constructed in our hotel room prior to the wedding. I actually forgot the pashminas in my room so the ladies didn't get them til the day after the wedding. OOPS! See... even with years of planning things can still get messed up. Just gotta roll with it.

I found an etsy seller who has similar frames in different sizes and in pretty much every color imaginable! she has 5x5.5 frames for $13! I have placed an order with her for 6 frames, 3 orange & 3 fuschia, shes in the procress of finding the perfect fuschia color as the closest thing she has now is watermelon or bubblegum pink. I'll let you know how they turn out but here is the link to her etsy page, definitely check her out http://www.etsy.com/shop/nicolesuder

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
