OOT bag - personalised contents - UK

Recommended Posts

Hey

i am making OOT bags for my wedding in July 2010 at the Moon Palace (yay!) and im in the UK (London).

Basically it seems a lot harder to get bits over here, and also, everything personalised seems to be in a minimum of 50 or even 100 units! i only have about 25 people coming!!

So is there anyone in the UK who is also doing this? maybe we can order in bulk and split things between us?

or, any other UK brides doing OOT bags? where have you managed to pick your bits up from?

thanks! :)

i need to buy totes, but they're working out expensive at the mo!
There are lots of vendors on the forum that offer to make logos and monograms for reasonable prices. There are also tons of brides out there that have gone the DIY route and there are entire threads dedicated to explaining how you can make them on your own. I've heard it's addicting if you DIY, I'm not brave enough, lol.

yeah ive looked on there, it's great. although the thing is a lot of the suppliers etc are american. in the uk we don't have half as many shops that can cater for this, and OOT bags aren't something most english brides do, so there's not much in the way of choice!

im not sure how easy it'll be to buy from the USA, pay using a UK card and have shipped to the UK, and the added cost of that too.

Just bumping this. Want to know what the UK brides on here are putting in their favour bags and where they're getting it from.

I've seen some great ideas on the other posts but the items are impossible to get as the websites are american.x

Im from the UK and love the idea of OOT bags and like you, am struggling to find stuff.. I love the personalised koozies people have in them so ive actually bought them from etsy and paid for the international shipping..! But for the Hangover kits I find the 99p shops are brilliant!! I had 33 hand sanitizers for £10 and a twin pack of lipbalm was buy 2 for £1 so worked out 25p each!! xxxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
