Bridal Party get Together

Recommended Posts

Hi Everybody,

I need your help!!! I am having a bridal party get together so that everybody can get to know each other better and was trying to think of some good games or activities. Please share any ideas and or suggestions. I am having a dominican dance instructor to come teach us some bachata and merengue dances so that should be fun and will take up an hour of our time.....I just want everybody to have a good time and enjoy each others company :)

Thanks,

Jess

yah I agree with jess.. Having that dance instructor and cocktails and appys would be awesome. I guess it depends how big your bridal party is, but if its bigger you could play a 'get to know each other game'.. for example we played one here at work where everyone submitted a fact about them that was interesting like 'I played on the Canada softball team in high school'.. and then you go around and try to figure out whos facts are whos. Gets people talking and interacting. But then again if there are only like 5 of you it might be silly!

I think it would be fun if you could get each person to tell you (and you only) something that NOBODY else knows about them. And make it into some sort of bingo game or guessing game around a table, and whoever gets bingo first, or gets the most correct answers wins a prize! That not only would be a game, but then people will know a little more about each person to break the ice. I did this for a work event once and it was really fun and well-received.

But the little-known fact has to be interesting & fun. It can't be: "I once visited France." It has to unique and fun, like I can say "I love you" in 8 different languages, ask me how". In fact, have them submit three ideas, and you choose the one you like the best.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
