Man, those men are funny!

So, I thought I'd share a little FI wedding planning story that I thought was funny, just to try to lighten your day.

My Fiance and I have been waiting to ask our BM and MOH to stand up with us until they put down a deposit to confirm their trips, so as not to put any additional pressure on them to attend. Well, FI's chosen Best Man, his best friend since childhood, just confirmed his trip so FI was thrilled and called him up to ask him. Here's how the convo went:

FI: So, you know how when you get married there's this poor jack@ss who stands up there and fidgets with you until somebody comes walking down the aisle? You know? You wanna be that jack@ss?

BM: Yep, I'll be your jak@ss.

So, now when I'm stressing about wedding planning, or how to ask my MOH, I'm just going to think about FI and his jack@ss and try not to take it all so seriously.

That is soooooo cute!

Good way to ask, and a total Boy way to ask!! lol

I'm the same, I have my MOH (FI's sister we're really really close, I have a sister...she's prob not coming) I have 2 BM's picked or shall I say I was informed - both I'd rather un-ask but don't have the proverbial "balls" to do so...and I still have 2 to ask but don't want to put any pressure on anyone...so once they book I will ask...One gal already knows that if she can come she is for sure standing by my side but I haven't wanted to pressure anyone else!! lol I don't really care if my FI and I have equal sides but I don't want to look like a looser and have NO one!! lol while he has 5 yes FIVE!!! I didn't want to have to choose out of my friends so I was hoping to only have 1, that thought went quickly down the drain!! lol

The one girl I had officially asked ended up pregger's and isn't able to come :o(

That is soo something my FI would say! Thanks for sharing!

Btw, I like that idea of waiting for the prospective BM and MOH to book first before putting them on the spot to assume a bigger role. I wish I did that, but then I didn't know I would be strongly considering a DW. Good stuff to think about for other brides though :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
