Wedding in Todos Santos, Baja California

Recommended Posts

I have now attended several weddings in Todos Santos, BCS. I can provide lots of feedback. For starters, here's some photos from a few:

Skim across the album with your mouse. Click to view photos. Enjoy!

Here's the BEST venue I have ever been to. Wasnt too expensive. If you're interested I think it's still available for rent. Encanto Real Estate - Beach Front Villa Punta Lobos

There's a great wedding planner in Todos named Alvaro. I have his details....

We have rentals available for up to 15 but that may not be suitable for you. CalyCanto Vacation Rentals in Todos Santos and Information on Baja California Sur, Mexico....

Would be happy to give you lots of advice since Todos is one of my favorite places on earth (we were married in Cortina Italy).

Sorry for all the links but thought you would appreciate the photos to give a better sense of what to expect. Feb is the best month of the year in Todos. Whales will be migrating right by so get married on the beach!

Hi! February 2010 in Todos Santos! I love the internet. I would love to keep in touch and share found info. We are looking into staying, and having the wedding/reception at Flora del Mar B&B. My fiance proposed to me there while we were on a family vacation a couple of Christmas's ago. It's now coming full circle. Anyway, the owner of the B&B had her daughter's wedding there recently. So, Ive asked her to send me contact info for party rentals, mariachis, and caterers, etc. Ill let you know what I find. Have you been to TS before?

Hi JPickell, Thanks so much for the links. I actually checked out your CalyCanto website recently. And let me say, congratulations and having one of the most thorough and helpful TS websites out there. Good job! Your casitas look amazing too, but yes, I thought it may not work out for us. However, they are gorgeous and look great for a group vacation or a private little romantic getaway!

I am trying to avoid hiring a wedding coordinator for a few reasons. We are really on a tight budget and also I have a very good friend who is an event coordinator (here in LA) who will be by our side. Im just having difficulty finding contact information for vendors. I may have to cave and hire him. It seems he may be my only hope.

Glad to help in any way I can so please don't be shy. No disrespect to the Cabo-fans but anyone who can appreciate the natural beauty of Todos Santos is a friend of mine. In case you do have more questions, I was the best man in one of the weddings in the links I sent you (the property listed for sale). The bride and groom live here in LA and could answer Qs for you, including on food and music. However, they did use Alvaro to plan and someone else to photograph, JFYI, Alvaro can be reached at alvarobaja@mac.com. Also, there's a woman named Barbara Perkins that does some planning and offers a venue (I wouldn't use her venue per se). Please tell Alvaro I referred you if you ever break down and use him. My personal opinion is that it's going to be very hard w/o a coordinator for a destination wedding unless you have a lot of time on your hands. We were married in Italy w/o one but my wife's whole family lives there so....

The other thing you might consider is organizing some type of event or tour, e.g., a bonfire and skywatching with meteorologist, horseback riding, hiking with local guides. Again, a great way for people to bond and get to know the area.

We're updating the CYC site to make it "bestoftodossantos.com" and have more ltd content on CYC (just for rentals). The idea being having a top 10 list of everything since we have spent a lot of time on the site.

BTW, am I supposed to get an email when this is updated? I thought so. Anyway, maybe that's later in the day....

Welcome Jen! I actually took engagement pics in Todos Santos. We went around town and also went to Hotel California. It's such a cute, quaint town with lots of great photo opps. I actually got married in Cabo. Let me know if you have any questions.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
