If anyone here listens to punk...

Recommended Posts

My new fav. Punk love song is "Smother me" by The Used (on Lies for the Liars, there new album). Its slow but still sorta punk in the lyrics, which would make it a lot easier to slow dance to.

I also love "I caught fire" by the Used (which was mentioned before).

How about "I like your mom" by Bouncing Souls. Not a romantic song exactly, but might be fun since you already have a little cutie!

The only punk music I have are 80s covers by punk bands (oh and the Ramones of course) ... but nothing really first dance-ish...

Hey I thought of you the other day when I was in Target.

They had the cutest notebooks and file folders with skulls and cross bones.

One had a lacey background with a big skull and cross bone.s.

Another had a pink background with little ones all over it.

Do you ever watch engaged and underage on mtv? I caught the very end of one ot the episodes and there was a hardcore/metal.grindcore (who the f--- knows, I can't tell those genres apart anymore!!) couple and they were slamdancing in the middle of the street after the wedding. The bride in her dress and the wedding party in their gear. It was funny.

As far as metal love songs...

HIM, although slightly overrated, has a buttload of love songs. "Beautiful" and "For You" are two examples.

Type 0 Negatrive - "Love you to death"

children of bodom - "bed of razors"

strapping young lad - "love"

"F'ed with a knife" by Cannibal Corpse?!? Not a typical love song though! May not be the best for your audience though...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
