What are you doing with your nails?

Recommended Posts

What is everyone doing with their hands & toes?

I want something fairly neutral on my hands, not sure if I'm going with a pale color or french tips. I rarely do french tips, but its very neutral, won't conflict or anything.

I have read of other brides using bright colors and I think its awesome! I normally do anything with my nails from no polish to blue, green, pink whatever, but I think I don't want them to stand out here.

Now my toe nails, I am thinking about chocolate brown. Not sure if they can do it, but blue flowers or "I do" would be cute.

Does anyone have a picture of "I do" toe nails? I have seen it on here, bt can't find it. Post some pics if you're already married or have inspiration pictures. I go to a great salon, but language can be a barrier so I definitely want to take a picture just to be sure I get what I want.

I'm going to do a sheer or pearly neutral color on my finger nails and hot pink toe nails :). My french tips always start chipping the day I get them. Since I don't know much about the salon at the resort, I'm going to get my nails done the day before I leave for Mexico. If I have to repaint myself, I can do that but at least my cuticles and nails should be in good shape still.

For a gift for the bridesmaids (and myself) I am giving everyone pedicures the day of the wedding. I really have no idea what color or design or anything. I'd love to see what others have done. I love the idea of "I do"! Very cute but I have no idea if the salon at the hotel will be able to do it. I can always ask!

I am doing the pedis with the girls once we get to Vegas, going w/ a wine color to go with the color in my dress. Fingers I am sticking w/ my pink & white acrylics I started having done last month. I wanted to give them a trial run and I was so tired of having jacked up fingernails from having thin nails combined with working with animals

I did the french manicure on both my fingers and toes - I got it done the morning of the wedding. Amazingly, my toes STILL look awesome - my fingers...not so much. At least they waited to chip until the day after!

I've seen the I Do toes too and I really like them. I seriously considered getting them, but decided to just stick with plain! I liked the way it looked at the woman at the salon had a bit of a hard time getting my french done - she said my toes were so tiny! LOL...I don't really think so!

I would love to see a picture of the "i do" toes! not sure if I would do it, but the idea is cute.

I've been in so many weddings this year, I've done french pedicure for all of them and they just looked really good, clean, matched with whatever. Then I did a nude color for my fingers and I'm a big fan of this! I though tI would always do a french manicure, but once I saw a nude color, I think it just looked better - it made my nails look longer.

TRY China Glaze - color Sydney Sand - i love it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
