I went with the 9x6x6 and they're perfect! So then my welcome letter is cut to 5x8 (three pages) and I stuffed it in a hot pink envelope that's 51/2 x 81/8 and it fits perfectly along the side of the box.

I love them AND if you find out last minute you need extras you can pick them up at Michaels or any other craft store - of course they're cheaper online and in bulk :)

- Mexican wedding cookies (I'm on a hunt for bakery in playa or cancun to order these from - will be trying to nail that down on our site visit next month). These have a little tag that says "Abrezos" (hugs) which I ordered from ForYourParty.com Wedding favors, custom wedding napkins, party favors, and more. Make your special occasion unique with personalized favors!. I believe they cost $90 for 150 tags (I got 50 of each)
- Chocolates from Ah Cocoa - those will have a tag that says "Besos" (Kisses)
- A Just in Case bag: Advil, tums, pepto, purell, shout wipes, bug repellant wipes...my fiance ordered all this stuff off of Amazon.com - it's amazing the stuff you can find on there
- Personalized Koozie
- Mexican Worry Dolls - we bought these in San Antonio at a mexican market - they're little dolls with a slip of paper that says "mexican children put these dolls under thier pillows at night and the dolls take all thier worries away" - although they're technically Guatamalean...
- Welcome Letter with Agenda.

I made two stickers - one says "Shake For a Kiss" and we're attaching those to adorable little hang tags I ordered from www.paperpresentation.com (in the color flame which is a metallicy orange, they have the same color at foryourparty.) and then I made 2x2 stickers that say "bienvenidos a mexico" and those will go on the outside of the gable box. I found a great website if you want to make stickers:

Online Labels - Labels for laser and inkjet printers! Compatible with all popular software programs for printing labels! - when you order labels they give you an access code to Maestro or something - but it's an online based program where you can design your sticker and then simply print them off -no worrying about the margins etc. I highly reccommend it.

I'm going to upload some pictures into photobucket and I'll post them.
Do the tags really say ABREZOS? Was this a typo... because it should be ABRAZOS (with an A).
*I'm not tying to be snotty, I swear!!!

To piggyback on Cathy's comment, are you seriously putting the worry dolls in therehuh.gif? As a 100% proud GuatemalAN (not Guatemalean) myself, I can tell you that no Mexican child ever put these under their pillows at night, these are little dolls wearing indigenous Guatemalan costumes...not Mexican AT ALL. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine, my poor little country isn't known for many things other than the good coffee, bananas, and chocolate, so I have to stick up for what we got. :)

Read more about these here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worry_doll

I apologize for all my typos!!

I don't mean to offend anyone - we just got the idea from a hotel we stay at here in Texas that leaves them in the room at turndown - I thought they were so cute so I looked them up online which is how I knew they were Guatamalan and not really Mexican (despite what the hotel had printed on the little sheet of paper).

GOOD! I just wanted to make sure... My FI is half Korean and I want to add some Hangul in the program and ceremony to honor his mom's culture but I don't know of anyone who can write in Korean!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
