Any recommendations for live streaming vendors in Cancun?  We'd like to stream our wedding ceremony live.

@@edeaton - Are you bringing sparklers or purchasing them through the resort?

As far as the DJ, (from my understanding of the budget planner) if you hire the DJ, the equipment is included. But, there is an option to rent the equipment (speakers, hook up, etc) to play your own music off an iPod/iPhone/etc (technician included).

I was going to use the resorts sparklers.

In reference to the live streaming, I would love to know as well. My fiancés dad is having major passport problems and may not get to go. I'm so worried!! Live streaming would help a lot. Plus I'm thinking a bigger legal ceremony before we leave so he doesn't feel left out.

@Mention-I totally wasn't reading that budget planner because it was in Spanish.  I figured out how to make it in English  :).  THAT ANSWERED A TON OF MY QUESTIONS!!!!  I received email from DJ yesterday and he mentioned he provided dance floor with his package.  That makes a lot more sense for $300/hour.  I love the light up dance floor idea.  Did any of you realize that was a part of his services?  So for the past and future brides, did you rent sound system for $180 for wedding ceremony and hire DJ for reception?

I know in the past you could switch cocktail hour for more people at reception dinner.  Is that still true?  Also has anyone looked into the Caribbean trio instead of Mexican trio?  It's included in Ultimate package.

Also I have 6 bridesmaids so that's $100/bouquet=$600.  That seems crazy to me.  Has anyone thought of an alternative?  I asked if we could bring our own but not sure if I want flowers that might not match and that look fake.

I don't think I ever received that catalog.  Obviously I'm lost to a lot of things they haven't sent me.  What all did it include and I'll go back and see if I might have it?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
