We finally received our complimentary photo slide show as we purchased the Ultimate Package.  I must say, our wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun was absolutely a dream come true.  We had the most perfect weather and the wedding staff and Gina did a fantastic job!  I've been following BDW forum since last year up until my wedding week and I have received so many tips from the past brides.  The past brides and also including myself have experienced it and I can now say....Please don't stress on your wedding day, everything will work out and beyond your expectations!!  I was told by the photographers about how calm I was before walking down the aisle...I truly did feel confident that everything was going to be perfect!  I only have photos of the ceremony but will include the rest once I receive photos from Citlalli Rico Photography.

 Your wedding was so gorgeous! And of course so were you If you dont mind me asking how much those flowers were to put on the huppah? Those were amazing and I havent seen a bride do that yet.

Alexus you looked beautiful and the flowers on the huppah were gorgeous!! Congratulations!

Thank you very much!  The additional flowers for the huppah cost $380 without tax.  Also, we had the long table as we had 14 guests so they reused the flowers on the huppah as the centerpieces.  It worked out for both ceremony and reception decor!  The flowers for the cake cost us an additional $80 and for the cake upgrade to 40 person serving cost $100...the cake was so big in size but worth for photos.

Hi Everyone!

We just got back from our Weddingmoon (8.26.2011) and reporting that everything went PERFECT! I am waiting for the photos to come in so that I can do one comprehensive review for all of you to consume... Everything went so well, the staff there is amazing! We had Georgina and Jorge on our team and they went beyond our expectations!

Heard back from the Pyro folks. They are meeting with the resort manager next week to do a final inspection for set up and they will have our custom quote for DRC brides.  YIPPIE!!!

The pictures (and you) are BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations to you both!!!

 

A couple of questions: Did you send them pictures of the flowers on the huppah and cake or did you finalize those details once you got there? Also, did you use the resort to do your hair/makeup, outside vendor or did you do it yourself? Thanks!

Yeah, I'm not sure - from what I'm being told they can plan 3 weddings per day and since it's a holiday wknd, it ends up being their busier times. I wonder if we can request having just our weddings for that day?

 

I'm working with both Ana and Gina...not sure who's officially assigned to me as I receive communication from both.

It seems like all the photo and video that come included in the ultimate package are all from the ceremony and not the reception. Is this why we should definitely hire our own photographer? So we make sure we get pics of before during and after the ceremony along with the cocktail hour and reception.
