The sound system is $180 for the ceremony only including technician. The sound system isn't included in any of the packages. What time is your ceremony? I don't think the pool would be too noisy if you had the sound system.

Congrats MRS!! Hope you had an amazing wedding and can't wait to see your pictures :)

I tipped the DJ, photographer (although I read in many places that they don't expect tips), the videographer, the wedding coordinator, and I think that my dad tipped the Mexican trio because I forgot about them when getting together my tips. I put all of the tips in labeled envelopes for each of the people that I wanted to tip and then had them all with me to give out at the end of the night. I was so afraid I would forget somebody!

You must be getting so excited! 2 weeks will fly by!
How much are you tipping everyone?

Noonie! Don't stress!!! It's a tropical climate - so the weather will always show 40-60% rain...it's probably one rogue cloud that will blow through in the afternoon and clear up quickly!
Just flight florida! and Houston...where I live! I swear, all through april it says it'll rain every day and occaisonally we'll get a quick little rain that passes through.

Ana and her assistant Yasmin are on top of it. The best part of my wedding is the awesome pictures. I would highly highly suggest Juan Navarro. His crew did an such a great job capturing every part. I have 3 cd's of pictures. Some are color, some black and white, some black and white with just flowers or somehting in the picture being color and sepia photos. So creative. We had so much fun. Here is a link to a few of the pictures on his site. JEFF & AMBER DREAMS RIVIERA CANCUN 10 APRILâ€10 Juan Navarros Blog

Congrats MRS!!! The pictures are awesome! Looking forward to your review!!! Thanks so much!

I spoke to Ana last week and she told me that the reception is a flat $180.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
