Can you someone forward me their email from the coordinator allowing this?

Veronica my coordinator is not allowing me to put the 26 dollars per person towards extra dinner.  My email is [email protected]

Thank you:)

I don't have an email confirming it yet but when I do i will send it to you. Ana confirmed it for me when I had the conference call with her...I have emailed her back detailing a list of things I'd like her to send me including an estimate for that credit. When I spoke to her I didn't have to ask her for it I just said that i was opting out of the cocktail hour and she said that she'd credit it towards the dinner. It's strange that there is inconsistent information between coordinators, doesn't make any sense. I will re-forward my email to her again (as I have to do about 6 times to get a response LOL) and as soon as I have it, i will send it to you.

I was told the same thing form Veronica when I asked about exchanging the cocktail hour for a credit toward the dinner. She told me that I couldn't do it but offered an extra hour for the reception which will work out fine for me. I wanted my reception to be 4 hours instead of 3 so the cost kind of evens out.

Can any of the brides who were already married at DRC advise on how the reception flowed?  When everyone gets to the reception "spot"- is the food already out and ready ( for the buffet)? Do we eat right away or do we mingle for a while?  Also, if you just have the technician, can he announce the bride/groom coming into the reception?  I'd like to picture how the reception is going to go with timing.  Thanks!!   cheer2.gif

FYI - One of the brides that blogged not too long ago said she is excellent - that is the person I am going to reserve for our photos

One thing I forgot to mention about the DJ (Morenci Neri).  He really does try to get the songs you email him.  I met with him on the day before the wedding and he played my requests for the dances to make sure he had downloaded the right ones.  So if you make a detailed list of what you want played, you will have what you want in terms of music.

Her work is great, she is shooting our wedding on May 9th and I requested her specifically...the last review and slideshow posted from a recent wedding there are photos taken by her and i loved them...I'm very excited to be working with you, she takes great quality photos.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
