Ok...anyone else in panic mode????

I leave in four days - NO dres and NO rings!!!!! had some major hiccups this past week and after all the planning and making sure all the details are right - the major things get stuck!! grr!!!

I should have everything before we go, but it is so stressfull to have those items left on the to-do list!!!

Not to mention im still waiting on shipments of the guestbook, lasso, coins and chair bows!

Best of luck to all you fellow august brides here's hoping that everything falls right into place!

holy smokes that's soon! Where are you getting married? (The new layout got rid of all the good details for brides!) What kind of stuff did you do for your guests? If you're a teacher I bet you're a bit crafty.  I go back to school after our wedding to be a teacher, and the craft bug hit me hard with this wedding, haha.

So exciting!!!

I know, I don't know that i like this new layout. I kind of miss the old one! Im getting married in Key West. We leae saturday and get married on Monday...yea! For my guests I made Gift bages (OOT bags basically). I found cheap canvas bags online and used printable iron-on transfer paper to create a cute design for the bags. I filled them with snacks (I got tons of individually wrapped stuff at Sam's), mini aloe lotions (Walgreens), kleenex, chapstick, and handheld battery operated fans. I also created a welcome book. This is what took the most time. I stole the idea from another forum on here. I used mini scrapbooks from Hobby Lobby. I printed off a welcome letter, itinirary, contact list, maps of Key West, photoshare info, and info about places to eat, shop and play around Key West. I just glued the paper into the books and was done. It turned out really cute.

About a month ago I sent out welcome packets to everyone as well. This just included a letter from my FI and I along with Key West info and a tentative inirary. With that I also sent luggage tags that I made. I had pictures from my planning visit to key west that I printed off in wallet sizes. I glues the picture to brown cardstock paper and on the other side put the name of the guest. Then I laminated them and punched a hole at the top for the luggage tag cord. Everyone seems to really like them. I was impressed with how thye turned out.

Good luck with the teaching job! What age level? I teach elementary so the creative thing comes in really handy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
