Seriously??! I always get dinged with eBay because they always ship from the US. I paid $70 shipping for something once... but it was a very important Christmas gift and I would have forked over thousands to get it here! lol

I'll let you know which site we end up ordering from... if we ever get there! lol

I am in Ontario, not sure if that is different or not, but I typed in my area code and it told me the shipping and $25 was the most, and I did not want to pay that. lol

I am also sad that the Ducks won the Cup, but the Sens just did not play like they wanted it.

Omg, they played horribly!!! For a stanley cup final game, they didn't play the way they should have. 6-2 is not the score of a stanley cup final game!

The ONLY upside, is that Ryan Getzlaf use to play for the Calgary Hitmen junior hockey team (WHL) so its kind of neat to see him playing in the NHL after we've watched him play for so many years beforehand... but I don't really like him anyways - he's lazy! lol

I must have overlooked the sugar starfish bit.

One last link before I go to bed:

            eBay: SUGAR STARFISH - 4" TO 6" - (EA) (item 180100679157 end time Jun-23-07 20:55:16 PDT)

You can calculate your shipping at the bottom of the link.

            Goodnight all!

I also love hockey, but I am a Leaf's fan, born and raised. lol So, I would not have loved to see Ottawa win it either, but its better than Anahiem. CBC went there and did interviews with random people asking them if they were watching the game tonight, and not one person said yes. Some even said "why is it a big game or something" that made me sick.

I don't know about shipping, but here's where I got my 4-6" sugar starfish and I see they have the white ones.

I sent out STDs in March/April and my guests have to book before October (dreams books up by then). I just didn't feel comfortable asking my guests to book without a formal invitation and all of the information - thus invites are on their way out!! I'll be keeping them updated, but I really wanted to make sure they had all of the information ahead of time... otherwise I'd save this stress for next year! lol

wow I can't even get my guests to book now and we only have a month and a half! Good job on being so prepared! Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Any luck with cheaper sand dollars? Could you buy some when you go to Cabo for your b-shots?? Maybe it would be cheaper?
And ya it sucks the Ducks won! But they deserve it because Ottawa didnt even try!!

Well, I'm hoping to raise the bar for Destination Weddings!!! lol. None of my guests have ever been to one before, so I'm hoping they'll just assume this is the ettiquette. My RSVP date is for September 1, so that I can hassle them if I need to - that gives me on month (ish) to get everyone who wants to go to book.

Aaron e-mailed the place that is charging $64.00 for shipping. They're shipping priority?? So is there a slower way? We don't need it here right away (although by the end of the month would be great!). So he's seeing what they can do about it. They're the only place that guarantees the safe arrival of the sand dollars and starfish, and if any are broken, they'll replace them - so I'm kind of attracted to their website for that reason. I might just have to suck it up and pay the $64.

Ya, I'm pretty ticked off about the Sens- they could have played A LOT better throughout this series. Plus, I really really hate Pronger, so that made me pretty mad too! lol
