I am having trouble choosing which type of veil I want. I really love the look of a mantilla (just ordered one from ebay for $25,) but also love a cathedral style like the model is wearing. I found one on ebay for only $13. I think I will order both just to have, in case I change my mind. Which do you guys think would look better? Also, have any of you gone with a cathedral length and regretted it? I love how it looks in pictures when its blowing in the wind, but I'm afraid it will get annoying and in the way. Here is my dress...

I think either would go well w/ your dress. I love the look of a veil in the wind, but a cathedral veil was too much for me. Its just too long to deal with on the beach in the wind. Plus I'm short and I'm not wearing my veil way up high on my head. I ordered mine on ebay for $13! i have fingertip length but cause its down much lower than my finger tips.

If you're going to get both, post pics and we can really see to decide!

Thanks guys! I actually didn't get the mantilla. It only had 1 hr on it, and I was the only bidder. Of course at the very last minute, someone else jumped in and outbid me by $1! Oh well. I will find another. I'm gonna post pics when I get them both and go for a fitting, so I can get pics with the dress. I also bought 2 different hair flowers too. Go figure. Its just like me to be indecisive and complicate things!

I also think both styles would look great with the dress. Sorry you missed the one though they will have more I am sure. I wore a cathedral veil I made it myself so it was the perfect length. I loved it and it did not bother me at all that day. I had my moh stand on the end during the ceremony so it worked perfect.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
