    Hi all!

We're getting married May 2010 at Beaches Turks and Caicos too. I am really considering doing Trash the Dress photos with Tropical Imaging a day or two after the wedding. Has anyone compared prices with other photographers? Their pictures are beautiful but are they reasonablely priced?

Does anyone else have info on the additions for the wedding? I know they are going through the whole Martha Stewart change but I'm starting to feel a little stressed because our wedding is less than 6 months away and i want to know how much to budget for all the extras we want to book... i'm mostly concerned with flowers and what the wedding locations choices are and what additions we can do that isn't the Martha Stewart stuff.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Kelly

      Kelly,

Please feel free to email Ileana who coordinates our weddings and she can give you a price list or even custom make a package for you (ileana@tropicalimaging.com). We get lots of inquiries and are happy to help see if our photography fits your plans.

There are some Travel Specialists on the Forum that specialize in the Beaches/Sandals weddings, I would check with them on the Martha Stewart additions. There are a ton of locations in the Beaches property (and all are lovely).

      I hope that helps,

      Krys Mann

I am a Beaches (Negril) Feb 2010 bride and even though they dont have the per table price out yet, I have seen the wedding flowers pricing which (unless they have changed it since 2 weeks ago) was between 2500-6k. The Preston Bailey stuff was 500 per table additional and i imagine the MS stuff will be comparable. I did see that this year the table size is 8 guests rather than 10. I am pretty sure they are rolling their prices out after November 30th (or at least how that has been explained to me)

For Beaches Negril the locations are free and there is no competition for a spot, since they only do one at a time- I imagine this is the same for TC...

            Hey Jennifer,
Is that policy just for beaches or all hotels?

Beaches is the only resort on island that has in house photographers and doesn't allow outside photographers on property. At any other resort you can bring a photographer. That is the hotel policy.

However, if you want to bring a photographer from outside the country, that person will need a work permit to work in the country legally(just as a foreigner would need a work visa to work in the US legally), which is a fee and paperwork (last I heard it was between $500-$1000 for a temporary work permit, but with the current economic situation, temporary work permits are difficult to obtain)

There are photographers on island who have business licenses/work permits/ and can work anywhere in the country (except for Beaches which only allows their photographers on property). You can check their websites/blogs and email and see if they might be a fit for you.

              hope that helps

Hi Ladies. We are still trying to figure out our wedding and honeymoon locations. We definitely want to do at least one of them at the Beaches T and C. Can any of you that are getting married in the near future or who have been married there already post some pictures. I would love to see some shots from a wedding at Beaches T and C. Thanks!

Mine isn't until May Cindy but my TA sent us tons of pictures of the resort. I also had the WC for Beaches T&C send me so location photos & package photos (before the packages changed).

I got married at Beach T&C in Oct 09. Here are a few of the pictures from my wedding and reception. Some of them are the resort photographer pictures and some are from my camera. We had our ceremony on the beach and the reception was by the iguana pool :)

Shannon, did you take most of your decorations or did you use what they had there? The pictures didn't turn out too bad, I keep hearing the resort photographers arent the greatest.
