This pic was taken on "bandana day" at doggie day care. Kayla is a 4-year old female lab/doberman mix and Sunny is a 1-year old male beagle mix. I've had both of them since they were 10-12 weeks old. I agree with everyone else, two dogs are so much easier than one. More expensive, but easier. My older dog also seems happier to have a little brother to pick on :-) They are so cute together.

Well, I better get going... My FI and are are supposed to be getting on the road soon. You ladies have a nice weekend!

i also saw your thing about the privacy setting... if it's just a link to book their room through a TA or something like that, i don't think it has to be private. of course, if there is information on there that you don't want anyone else to see or use, by all means, leave it. i don't think privacy settings will affect anyone's decision to come or not.. at least i hope not!
Thank you!

Well we have our Group Booking link AND the Group Rates posted but I'm still seriously considering removing the privacy setting because I'm sure it's annoying for those who aren't computer savvy. I have to say, the one nice thing about it is that to view our site you have to register so it allows me to see who has looked at it and also provides me their e-mail address if I don't already have it.... uggh... decisions decision... and I thought a destination wedding would be less stressful!!! Hahahahha!

Welcome To Our Destination Wedding Website | Welcome | TracyandMike
I know! I entered my mom and step-dad's RSVP myself because it was a little more than she could handle! LOL! And then there are those who are all excited about going and ask me a ton of questions that are ALL answered on the website already! So I answer, "Yeah, all of that info is on the website... have you seen it yet?" (knowing they hadn't but trying to get them to at least look at it!) Oh well...at least it's funny to talk about. Once the reminders go out it's every guest for themselves... I did my job in trying to get them all of the info...

I'm going to have to RSVP for the grandparents on both sides of my family just because none of them even have the internet!!! Thankfully parents on both sides are okay enough to at least follow the link I gave them and enter the information required! I think only three or four friends have been on the site though, but with thanksgiving dinner coming up (for us CDN's!) it totally gives me the opportunity to harass them!! YAY! I love my friends for putting up with me!

shortandsweet,

Your babies are too cute!!!!

Enjoy your trip, safe drive!

I'm with everyone on this! I will send out reminder's with our website and after that everyone is on their own (I have no problem helping ppl with booking, we didn't go with a TA) but no more calling or checking in to see if they are coming!

DW aren't all that stress free, I've realize that and finaly accept it lol!!

Yes, I hear you! I've said it before and I'll say it again, whoever said destination weddings were stress free obviously never planned one themselves! We're still in the nag people stage, but I'm ready to just let them do what they want and see what happens!

I'm with you on that, I even type up a reminder e-mail but still haven't sent it since my rsvp date has come and gone and no one has contacted me, thinking of just letting people do what they want. For the people who tell me they are coming will get an OOT bag and a favour! It's fustrating, I don't know if I should send the e-mail and nag, or not!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
