My second wedding dress will be in next week, and the first $$ one will be Oct 1. Things are starting to come into place. I would hope so 7 months goes by fast!

Holy smokes!! I've got some catching up to do!! My wedding is just a couple days later than yours and I don't have my dress (nevermind TWO! me = jealous!), no bridesmaids dresses, no rings picked out even! Agghhh! Looks like I've got a busy couple months ahead of me!

Congrats on getting your dresses in though! Can't wait to see them, but I'm no help in getting anything attached either sorry sad.gif

and here I thought I was behind on things. Most brides that are getting married around our date have their FI and GM outfits!!
Hurry on the dress, especially if your ordering it, it could take up to 6 months!
But after all we are doing a DW for a little less stressful, so don't stress lol!
still trying to figure how to post pics

I've been out at a handful of stores already and just haven't had any luck finding a dress so far, but I'm totally trying! I know I don't have much time left either sad.gif I'm more sad about not having a dress right now than I am stressed, but give me another week and the stress may have bumped up a notch!

We're going fairly casual for the BM and GM outfits, as well as our entire wedding almost so I'm not as worried about that - although maybe I should be!! We got engaged at the very end of June so it's been a bit of a go-go-go mentality for me since.

Oh wow! your newly engaged! well Congrats. I bought my dress over a year ago still haven't recieved it yet (Oct 1st). But we originally were going with an in town wedding so I bought a church dress style. I had to get a second one for dancing.I'm sure you'll find something soon. David's Bridal maybe? I heard it's good for off the rack dresses. Keep us post about your dress!

Those are cute BM dresses! I bet they'll look great on the girls!!

And I don't really live close enough to the border to drive down to a David's Bridal to check out their dresses, but I think I'll be okay as long as I can order in the next week or two max! I've been lucky that a lot of dresses I seem to fit reasonably well, so I wouldn't need much done for alterations I think. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Well I live in Montreal, if you know anything about our shopping, I went on St-Hubert St. And I knew they would have the end of season sale. It's also where I got my wedding shoes for $49(not that much of a sale tho) It was funny when I went back to get my shoes all the sandals were off the all the racks.Ha I got lucky. They are nothing fancy ...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
