Hi,Im Nicole from the San francisco Bay Area. My fiance Preston and I are getting married on June 23rd in Cabo. We were going to do it in Golden Gate Park but I was just too much work and family compromise. We had already booked our cruise to the Mex. Riv and decided to get hitched on the honeymoon... We invited our close friends and family but due to the current economic situation only our mothers and our children (8 &15 from prev. relatioships)were able to make it...Quiet as kept, that's all we wanted anyway. Well, although things have been going our way, a month ago the Swine Flu (forgive me, the H1N1) virus breaks and my quiet Cabo weddings seems to be fading... needless to say, I MILDLY freak out. Fastforward about a week ago, we get an email from Royal Carribean asking us how we would be impacted if they continued with their current itinerary... Well, Finally! Someone asks me for my opinion! So I wote them back (this is the gist) Uh, hmmm, well, I really would HATE to cancel this cruise, however, If the $3000 cruise i'v purchased a year ago is going to retun to SAN FRANCISCO! I'll pass... I doubt that my comment made a difference but, our cruise will be the first since the outbreak to return to The Mexican Riviera. Whew! That was a close one...bunny_4.gif

      Cabo Azul Wedding Cost / Review

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
