Bringing your own decorations question??

Recommended Posts

Okay ladies those of you who brought your own decorations like table overlays, centerpieces, flowers and such. Did the WC at the resort set all of this up for you? Or are you expected to set it all up?? I bought stuff to make my own centerpieces but the last thing I want to do while i am getting ready on my big day is worrying that someone from my wedding has to go down and set them up... Thank you in advance feedback.gif

We gave our reception decorations (luminaries, centerpieces and flower petals) to our WC the morning of our wedding and she arranged for them to be set up for us for our reception. I would just let your WC know about your decorations when you meet up with her initially once you get to the resort. I can't see why they would make you do it yourself wink.gif

I showed our WC how I wanted the centerpieces to look and she took care of everything. They looked better than I even envisioned.

Your WC should take care of everything, but I had some relatives on standby just in case it wasn't done...

Do you think that the WC will still set things up if you are using one of the Free Wedding packages that some resorts offer? Just curious... We are getting married at the Grand Oasis and the reviews weren't the best but we are doing it there so that our guests can afford to go and actually us too! haha... We know what we're getting into, but that was definitely one of my questions! I'm not going to go crazy... maybe a table runner and a few center pieces...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
