We are leaving our doggies with the breeder that we purchased them from. She watches all of "her" dogs for $15/day per doggie. They stay with her any time that we go away and I really trust her. I've also met lots of people through the Do something, Learn something, Share something, Change something - Meetup.com website. We joined a small breed meet up group that meets in our area. I know it sounds sort of cheesy to have a meet-up for dogs but I wanted them to be socialized. Is there anything like that around you?

Good luck finding a place...I would be nervous about it too!

JMiranda-
We have a chocolate lab puppy and there is a great place right by O'hare where he gets to stay whenever we have to leave him. I attached the website, he has stayed there three times and has had so much fun each time. The only problem was last time he had to much fun in the pool and ended up with an ear infection so when he goes to stay for the wedding we are going to have to get him antibiotics ahead of time so he isn't affected during his stay. But he gets his own room with a glass window and the only times he is in it is for naps and at night for sleepytime. Otherwise he is in the 10,000 sq foot play area with a bone shaped pool. The play area is indoor doggy grass that gets irrigated every night and people are always in the play area interacting with the dog. If you pay a little extra they get a treat every night and can even be groomed during their stay. We totally recommend getting them to give him a bath before you pick him up, Moose smelled sooo bad from playing the pool for 5 days when we picked him up. I also think one of the major benefits with going there is there are webcams that you can log onto and check in on your little ones wink.gif!! And u can park at their location and they will shuttle you back and forth to the airport (they are about 5 mins from O'hare). Best part, they are open 24 hours for pick up compared to most boarders that are only open till 6pm, so you can get your pet whatever time your flight comes in. We booked the smallest suite and it was $47 a night.

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
