Jonathan,

I think it all boils down to the type of exposure you are looking for. Personally, I think it would be an excellent business decision. I spend more time looking at that magazine than any other. Other magazines tend to mesh together in my mind for some reason, but when I read GO, the detail is phenomenal and the quality of the ads & articles are top notch.

I say go for it, and if you do, let us know so I can find your ad!

lol, thanks Jaime. I have to raise my prices for next year though. If I want my business to keep growing, I have to go with the flow. Email me though, we'll be able to work something out wink.gif

Jonathan I love Grace Ormonde Magazine, but I must admit it's only for ideas. I wish that I had a tenth of the budget of most of those brides. I enjoy party planning so it's strictly for copying ideas. I for the most part feel as if there vendors are out of my price league.

I also really enjoy Inside Weddings and find it a bit more helpful. Hope my opinion helps you decide!

Going along with that idea you would probably reach a lot of high end clientele that would be able to afford your work. (No offense to you Jenetta, I doubt I could afford the things in there either!)

We (my Dad's art gallery here in Dallas) advertise in Modern Luxury and it has definitely brought us in some great clients with money to spend!

Advertising is always a good idea ~ especially when it gets your name out there to people who can comfortably afford your services.

So there's my unselfish opinion. wink.gif

I've never heard of the Mag before. When I see a wedding mag I scan for pics that catches my eye that is what makes me buy it. I hate mag's that have a ton of ads, I won't buy it for that very reason.

But with that said, any advertising is good exposure, it's all about getting your name out there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
