Ok- I hadn't even thought of thank you cards yet since our wedding is over 5 months away. However, we just received our first gift. So we should send a thank you card right away, correct?

I was going to use vistaprint, and thought of using our logo. What do you girls think? Or should we go with standard thank you cards?

Hi Darcy - I believe you are supposed to send them right away. We just got our first gift also, and just sent a thank you note.

I actually found these great letterpress thank you cards at Target and they were $12.99 for 50...Your logo would be cute though!

Who would thinking picking out thank you cards would be so hard smile35.gifSo DH and I have been having discussions on what kind of thank you cards to send. We know we want to send a card which has a photo (I want to include more then one since it is hard to pick just one) We have seen a lot of sites now make the photo cards that look like hallmark cards, I like the idea but DH not really like the idea of it being more a card and would rather send a photo in a thank you card. So we were wondering what type of thank you did you send? Also did you send thank you cards only to guests who came and then wedding announcements to those that did not make it?

What about something through Picaboo, or another photosite with a picture from you're ceremony, so that those who didn't come get to see part of the day. I would send thank yous to those who came or anyone who sent a gift if they couldn't come and announcements to the rest. Sending a thank you to those who couldn't make it might make them feel ackward.

Jkcz - I've been thinking about this too ever since we got back from our trip. DH seems indifferent to the whole thank-you card thing, so I was thinking of doing one of those pictures of us where it has our names and wedding date on it, such as "Cameron and Katherine Funnell, February 19, 2009" and insert it inside of a thank-you card. We were thinking of sending thank-you cards to everyone that attended and everyone that sent gifts (people sent us gifts who didn't even attend and we told people not to give us anything at all lol).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
