New Las Caletas Bride

jajajaja

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I'm Rachel. My wedding date is March 27, 2008 in Las Caletas, PV. I am so thrilled to find this site! I thought I would have been researching and seeking out information all alone. Apparently not!!

So thank you to the creators. Quite ingenious.

Rachel, welcome! You've officially been added to my list of LC brides! I was sooo worried that I wouldn't be able to find any info on Las Caletas, but now there are so many brides on this forum - it's great! Right now I think Jamy and I are the most vocal LC brides ... probably because we're almost at our big day! Let us know if you have any questions.

If you haven't already, I did a search for "Caletas" in the PV area - here are the results, check them out! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...earchid=283008

Hey Rachel! I'm not a PV bride, but I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I have to agree with you, when I was searching wedding forums I was getting fed up because there was very little to do with destination weddings and most things (or at least the process of) don't relate well to destination weddings. Very frustrating! Then I found this forum, and I've become a crazy addict! lol.

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the forum! This is no doubt, the most helpful site you'll have access to just because there is a wealth of knowledge from all the DW brides and brides-to-be.

You already have your location decided (you got it booked already too?) and the date so you're in great shape so far, good for you!smile159.gif

Booked- check! I was worried about being a bridezilla, so I booked it then said "Contact me when you want to hash out the rest of the details." I didn't know if I was being a little crazed since all of the other WC took WEEKS to respond...It's not me. It's them, right? haha

Good on you for being on top of things Rachel! I'm envious. To be able to plan such an exciting event and NOT be rushed. This way, you'll be able to enjoy it all the more.

And you're not Bridezilla till you're flying down to the wedding location site after 2 unanswered emails, then someone would have to sit you down and intervene. ;-) Till thenk, sounds like you're money. Congrats again!smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
