Recommended Posts

hi baj and shellk

no only on short haul this month hopefully some nice long haul next month :) stayed in jamaica for 2 days last year whilst working it was beautiful!

we got £500 off but that was only because i won a comp at work and that was first prize a £500 voucher, cant complain really :)

anyway...my fiance rang on Friday and he was far more assertive than me, and they are now sending the forms to our house and we will post them ourselves, spoke to wedding dept and they are still holding the date and time (so they tell us) and we are not dealing with TA anymore but directly with the wedding dept, my fiance gave the TA a bit of a telling off!!! :)

we have 17 guests at the moment made up of family and friends should be a riot!!

hopefully soon all will be sorted and confirmed, but if we dont get our date and time we will be writing the nastiest letter to Thomson

Hi desser & shellk,

looked at dresses online & in mag's but think I will wait until the end of the summer before I really put my heart into it. I would like to drop a dress size or at least tone up so started walking, which I quite enjoy and it is not too bad when the weather is nice.

Already got the wedding rings and H2B still unsure if he will go the whole hog and be suited up or dress more for the weather.

Hi shellk & desser,

Shellk, I agree with you about the suit's and the weather & linen would be my choice.

desser any news yet?

It's so sad to hear about the Mexico B2B's and the stress they are all having to go through with this flu thing.

Still concentrating on my walking & beginning to feel better for it. Also been out shopping for some new summer gear and been looking at hairstyles for my wedding. I have decided to have my hair up so collecting a few pictures so I can see what it would look like on the day.

hi ladies,i say we are allowed to do anything to keep us happy and positive its our wedding day lol.

i am struggling with hair i have a short concave bob (old vic beckham style)which i love and don,t want to grow out but its not an ideal bride style.i tried on a small veil thinking it would help but its just not me.never mind i,ll think of something.

i just hope the swine flu has well gone b4 we go.one of the ladies that gets married at the same hotel in may is really worried.i think it will die down in a few days.desser dont go flyin there lol.

Hi,

Well desser - you certainly are organised & appear to have nearly everything sorted, did you phone them again today?

Shellk - I am sure that you will find a hairstyle that you like and anyway you still have 10mths left to go if you do decide to grow it.

I am also sure that the swine flu will have gone before you travel shellk. I really feel for the B2b's who have had to cancel their wedding plan's because of it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
