How did they try to explain that then!

If they send them to your home address it may be quicker for you if you can take them back into the travel shop , if they sent them to the travel shop would you both be able to get there to sign them so that if might quicken things up, and/or is it to far away to take them direct to the Wedding Department Office.

You must be so so mad with them.

hi baj

the forms are already signed just not been sent!! i am ringing the wedding department tomo after 11am (they said they recieve there post at 11 every day) i will be asking them to send the wedding pack to our home address not TA!

i am very mad, it just annoys me that they are so casual about it all its like your bothering them they have got to relaise they are messing with peoples wedding days!! i told them on phone that if we dont get our date and time it will be down to them!! lay the guilt trip on them! :)

baj,

i hope you get everything sorted out.i take it that they should give you your time etc when you get everything confirmed then?i think we have to wait until 2 months before.

desser,

you have done really well to keep your cool until now and tell them that.it sounds like you are fighting your corner well done.continue like that now until you get all of the info you are wanting.it should take 14 days from now for them to confirm your date.

Hi desser, Fingers crossed you get both, did you get you forms sent back?

What upsets me the most is how the TA and the staff from the Wedding dept don't seem to understand why I am getting so stressed and upset about it all. Basically, they have now left it up to me to find out if I have got the time slot requested and if not then, it's my problem to try and get the requested time slot on another day. They can't even give me the WC direct contact details just advised me to do what I already did on Saturday and just email riu.weddings.

So I am still awaiting a reply and I am non the wiser what time slot I have been allocated for the 4th March. Just hope that when the WC does email me back I have been allocated the requested time slot and if not she was able to change my date to one with the requested time slot. So sorry I did not just book direct with the Hotel!

hi baj

it seems to me that as soon as they get your money for the holiday then the customer care stops!! we and our friends and family have spent over £20,000 (a nice bonus for someone) and they are treating us like crap!!

i rang today at 12pm (as TA told us they receive there mail at 11am) and they said it takes all day to sort the mail out so ring back tomorrow!! really fed up of being fobbed off!!

desser, Good news, I have heard back from WC and she confirmed that she was able to change my date and we now have our requested time for a 4.00pm wedding.

Hope you have better news tomorrow when you phone your TA.

Shellk, How are you getting along with your plans.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
