The Good, The Bad, and the UGLY

Recommended Posts

The good = It's still cool if you are in the shade. And you don't move around.

The bad = It rained in Conchas Chinas two nights ago. RAIN.

The ugly = It's already hot, girls. WAAAAY early - if you have a ceremony outside in the afternoon and it's not covered you need a) fans and/or B) water for your guests. Am not kidding. As most of you know, am not a joker when it comes to weather wink.gifwink.gif.

You're crazy Jaime lol! I've been to PV in June a few times when it was supposed to rain and didn't so odd things happen...maybe it's an unusually rainy year? I bet there are plans in place where your weddings are in case it does rain, I know at LC they have options.

Plus it rained pretty hard at Amy's PV wedding and it was amazing. She had some killer pictures that most DW brides don't get.

JL - Bad that it rained because, if it starts raining now, that means that our normal "rule" of "no rain" from Nov-middle of May is shot to pieces - meaning that once it starts raining, it usually continues to rain - at least off and on.

Also bad that it rained because, when it starts raining, the humidity comes and, with the humidity you get? Everyone?! that's right - HOT. HOT. HOT.

Nikki - don't worry - December is usually pretty safe and, although we've had a few decembers that were a trifle warmer than normal, it's still not HOT. :)

I will keep you updated - just email me :):). Don't worry - so far we haven't had another day of rain since the CC incident (haha!) - but, if it does look like sprinkles, I'll say "OH NO" wink.gif. Keep in mind too, that, while it rained in CC, it didn't rain ANYWHERE else in Vallarta. So.....I'm just saying :):).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
