I was married on April 21 at Cabo del Sol at the Golf Club. It was amazing, here is the review.

 

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica-A+

Classy resort, our guests stayed here. The service was fabulous, wonderful pools, beaches, restaurants. We rented the bed on the beach the day after our wedding and had a butler, Top class.

 

Mi Casa Restaurant-A

We had a welcome dinner for 40 people and it was around $2200. 3 course dinner plus drinks they could choose off the menu and we had a semi-private room. Really great! Yummy margaritas

 

Wedding Planner - Romantic Cabo Weddings - A

Illeana and her helper Luba did a fantastic job and did what I asked them to do. Very nice, they bought maracas

 

Cabo Del Sol Wedding Site - A+++

Susana the contact there is amazing, the whole place is like a mexican hacienda. It is gorgeous! The golf course is where we had the wedding ceremony and the clubhouse was the cocktail reception and dinner. It was amazing. The cuisine is superb, the service stellar. Everything we could imagine! Incredible. Our guests raved about everything. Cabo del Sol contracted The Twins band, mariachi and guitar player and minister so we just had them do all the billing and they coordinated everything! The way to go in Mexico. I cannot say enough about it! I got ready upstairs on the 2nd floor and it was so special.

 

Elena Damy Flowers-

Very nice job, very expensive. They did my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquet and 5 centerpieces for 1000. It was nice but I had to double check a lot because Elena just had her baby.

 

Flower Cart Flowers- INCREDIBLE JOB. They did my arch and flower petal aisle for a bargain! Only 850 and it was so beautiful. My favorite thing for the whole weekend!

 

Terramar Rentals - A++

Adriana and Edson were great, I rented table linens and chargers, napkins to give my wedding a very classy look and they delivered and did a fabulous job!

 

Cabo vip Services-(transport company)

Andres the owner is fabulous, highly recommend him, he has beautiful shuttles with bathrooms and is on time

 

Ixchel Shuttle-

They were late a few times - do not recommend them, sorry.

 

Jesus for Hair- A+++

So talented, sweet, caring and calm, Just what I needed he made me look beautiful on my wedding day, he did hair and makeup and lashes. God bless him! Use him, you will not be sorry!

 

Lessons learned,

If you get quotes in mexico for things, and do not get a contract people show up and work for you. They expect to be paid, I got a quote for a mariachi 4 months before my wedding never heard from them again and they showed up to play??!!! WHAT? BE CAREFUL. This is very dangerous.

The same thing happened for our transport company so we had double shuttles booked without any contracts.

Hi Angela,

 

Congratulations! It sounds like your wedding was a huge success!

 

I also am getting married at Cabo Del Sol and have not actually been there in person, yet. We have our planning trip in June, where we will be visiting the location and testing the food.

 

I'm looking forward to checking out your pictures and probably will be contacting you with some questions about the facility if that is ok!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
