Iberostar Rose Hall Beach review --long

Hi Carina,

The candles on the table were included. Candles were never mentioned during my meeting with the WC so I was surprised to see them (they weren't the most stylish thing.) If you can open the pics from one of the earlier posts, you'll see it on the cake table. I did not pick the colour, I'm assuming you probably can't. It's probably the candles the restaurant uses normally. I'm not sure if they were lit. Sandy (the WC) did not mention any other extras that I could use during the reception. Her only question was "how do I want the tables set up."

You are correct about the drink selection at Tony's Steakhouse. But, I did not set up a bar. I think most of my guests were at a bar having drinks while I was off doing photos with my hubby. We were only at the restaurant to eat (no dance). After dinner, some of us got changed and we went to the lobby. We had drinks from the bar there and shared the champagne that was in my room and then headed to the disco at the hotel next door (Iberostar Rose Hall Suites).

25 booked-- that is the perfect size. You might just all fit at one table for the japanese restaurant. Which I highly recommend -not for the wedding night --but maybe for rehearsal night.

I like to help, I had a hard time finding help when I needed it, and my poor hubby had to deal with my "what if" questions right up until I met up with Sandy. And, she didn't want to see me until the day before my wedding.

This review is great. Thank you for posting it. I haven't been able to find many reviews of this resort. Congrats on the beautiful wedding. I was really happy to see the picture of the cake. I was a little concerned about it at first but it was a very lovely cake. Would you have any additional pictures of the restaurant? Thanks!

I don't have any pics that would clearly show off the restaurant. I can say it's not the fanciest place, but I really did love the setup they did for me.

The restaurant has blue walls with an open patio. It's a buffet restaurant for appetizers and dessert, the main meal is served. They had the left side of restaurant set up for me and my guests w/ table set up in letter U and cake on separate table in middle of the "U". The other guests were on other side of restaurant. This restaurant is casual, ie. other guests can wear shorts --but the steakhouse does have the BEST food.

They are more than happy to set up any way you like, I did not bring decorations other than red x's and o's confetti to put on the table.

Congrats on your wedding Jules. Montego Bay is a great location. And especially nice after spending approx 4hrs on flight, the bus ride is a short one to get to the resort.

Ya, the disco and salon are on the Suites property.

Iberostar guests staying at Rose Hall Beach are permitted to go there -just gotta tell the front desk that you are planning to go.

Iberostar also will drive you over in a little golf cart - it's a really short walk (5 minutes max).. but they really want to drive you there. I guess it's 'cause they really want to pamper their guests.
