Yet another random question - I fully trust Blaire, but my wedding is at 7pm! It feels quite late... If I estimate for a 30 minute ceremony, with the cocktail party that brings us at 8:45 for dinner (15 minutes after sunset, apparently). Does anyone else feel that this is weird? Or too late?

Magalie,

Don't worry about this at all! Our wedding was around the same time and we were two weeks before you (May 1st). PF has the timing down to a science, I promise! We have the most beautiful pictures (as the sun is setting)! Plus, I don't know who your pastor is, but I doubt your ceremony will be 30 minutes. They are usually only 15-20 minutes long. My advice is just to relax and enjoy the ride. Lindsay or Blaire will take care of the rest. wink.gif
.
P.S. I think I had a similar worry in the back of my mind, but they really do have everything worked out according to the time of sunset. :)

I ordered simple invites from weddingpaperdivas.com which I loved. Here's a link to the exact invitation.

Signature White Wedding Invitations - Floral Patterned by Wedding Paper Divas

We weren't able to fit a ton of information on there so we too directed everyone to our site. We didn't have anyone who wasn't able to get online to view. However, some people contacted my parents with additional questions.

sabbott - have you set a date yet?
Jenniebey - thank you so much!! Your invites are great. Sorry it takes me so long to reply - I'm blocked from BDW while at work.

We have set a date - May 22, 2010!

Mel&B -- your invitations were beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Oh and by the way, my first name is Sara. Thanks, Ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
