Stag n doe raffle prices - heellppp!!!!

Recommended Posts

I am in need of some advise. and QUICK

We are having our stag n Doe tommorow and are have conflicts about how the pricing should be for raffle tickets.

We have 6 large prizes that are:

bar fridge

Hour Massage

Texas Mickey of Crown Royale

Camera and Printer

Then we have a table of smaller items ranging from $10 - $50

I dont know how much to sell tickets for huh.gif

We were thinking 1 for $5 for the large raffles of 3 for $10

Then the Smaller raffles I am being told $3 for 10 but I dont know if that is too much money or not?

Id like to do something more along the lines of an arms length for $$huh.gif? But I dont know how much to charge.

Can someone please help me out with this??!!!

Any thoughts/ pricing ideas would be appreciated!!!

OOO when I had mine ... well in the U.S. we mostly call it a Jack N Jill... I like you had a larger group and a smaller group of raffles. The $$ items we actually went with 3 for $10, and the smaller grouping we did by the arm for $8 or 5 for $5. People really like by the arm because we had trails of tickets flowing behind everyone as they walked around.. LOL

hey Ladies,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your imput :)

I appreciate everyones help!

I think we have it figured out now.

I will let you all know on Monday how it all worked out!!!

A stag n Doe is basically a fundraiser for the Bride and Groom as most people would say.

I like to think of it as a HUGE party for the ones that will not be joining us in Jamaica on the 26th of Feb. Lots of food Games Prizes and Music.

GOOOD TIMESSS thats for sure :)

Thanks again :)

Countdown is on for the wedding.22 days till we leave for Jamaica and 27 days till I become Mrs. Slusarczyk AKA Mrs. SSSSSSSSSSs

Hello everyone :)

Stag n Doe was a great success :) We ended up with 157 ppl :) SOOO MUCH FUN

Music was great food was great and the booze was flowing haha.

We ended up doing Large raffle for 3 for 10 and the smaller raffles we had prices of $15 for an arms length. Everything went over very well.

Only problem that we had was someone who was there at the Stag n Doe stole the digital Camera that went with the printer for one of our grand prizes.!

I can't believe someone would do that. Just plain old rude and disrespectful!!

Other than that incidednt everything else went smooth and all in all was a great party!!!

We are being asked to have another LOL so I guess that means everyone enjoyed themselves which makes all the hard work and planning well worth it :)

19 days till we leave for Jamaica and 24 till I marry my baby YAAAA

I can't believe someone stole the camera!! WTF?! I can't believe how dishonest and disrespectful people can be...especially since they are supposed to be there to help you out and enjoy the time with friends and family. I'm sorry that happened but it sounds like the party was an overall success. And you are leaving very soon...how exciting!!

    • STAY AWAY FROM CARIBBEAN EMOTIONS PHOTOGRAPHY!!!! Michael Weiler is a SCAMMER he took our money and disappeared!! we hired him as our photographer for our wedding back in November, he gave us a run around for the first week or 2 saying our pictures are almost ready and then disappeared. we have been sending him emails, texts and phone calls for the past 4 months and he is now where to be found. I made a fake account to email him and he answered right away as he is only interested in taking peoples money and not give anything in return.
    • For weddings you should definitely use a travel agent as there are promotions and amenities with a group block that you will not get by booking individually like comped rooms, upgrades, spa treatments, etc.
    • Congratulations and welcome to the forum! There are lots of great resort options in Punta Cana and we have stayed at or toured many of them.  Are you looking for a family friendly resort or adults only?  What you interested in with nature and the ceremony? All of the resorts will have different wedding locations and there are also a variety of off resort wedding venues in Punta Cana. Please feel free to email us at info@wrighttravelagency.com if you'd like us to send resort info and check group rates. Thanks! Patty
    • Hello Everyone!  I am currently in the initial stages of planning and I am starting to look at resorts in Dominican Republic. I am thinking of having my wedding in October 2020.  I have been looking at resorts in Punta Cana, but I also want to look at other options/areas as well. The groom and I enjoy nature and we would like to incorporate that into our wedding in some way. We may also have a guest list between 50-80 people. Since we live in the US, I wanted to find a location that is accessible from major airports and is cost efficient for our guest as well as us. Can anyone share what locations they have searched or been to other than Punta Cana? Also I am okay to receive feedback on some Punta Cana locations.
    • Thank you! I did not make these. I purchased them from a business. They are still for sale if you are interested!
