OMG 2 weeks until we leave!!!

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I've been working on tons of stuff but not actually getting much completed. I think I'm also kinda saving up my posts to do one big Planning thread next weekend.

I also thought I'd have the next two weeks of lessons all planned and prepped but I'm not even close. It's gonna be a hectic two weeks :)

Yeah...I've started my planning thread in word so all I have to do is copy & paste. Plus I know I'm not going to have time to sit & complete it all at once - so I'm just picking away at it here & there!!

We'll all definitely be busy the next couple of weeks, but it will so be worth it!!!

Okay, so today I

made arrangements to get my ring to our jewler (who says it'll be done with lots of time before we leave)

Bought travel and cancellation insurance (better late than never)

Received my BD book in the mail

And made an appointment to get my car fixed (booo)

I feel productive, tonight is my first belly dancing lesson, wish me luck!

I was thinking the same thing Tan!! I already know I"m going to miss planning!!! Maybe we could be partners!!??

It's about time we heard from you Angela!! It seems like forever!! Looks like someone had a bachelorette party!! Is that why you were away?? Feeling a little under the weather?? LOL

Did you post pics here?? I HAVE to see them!!

Oh...and have fun at belly dancing class teacherbride!! It's really fun! We touch on it a little bit in Zumba - we actually touch on a lot of things!! Hip hop, salsa, bachata (yeah...it's a dance & I was super excited!!), mambo, belly dancing, greek/russian dancing of some sort!! It's a blast!

I'd totally be in, I need to start getting friends married so I can help them! I can totally feel that there's gonna be a weird withdrawl time when I get all done with this wedding stuff.

So the belly dancing class was kinda lame. It's just through a rec centre so it wasn't too crazy. Unfortunately I have my mani/pedi appointment next week and the week after I'll be at my own wedding!!! I guess I'll have some catching up to do when I get back!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
