Getting ready! Still a few things left to do but nothing I can't handle!! :)

The big thing now is my pre-travel email to my guests. There are a few people who have never been to an AI so I wanted to send a "what to expect" kind of email with a packing list & helpful hints, etc. It's getting down to the wire & I wanted to send it a bit in advance!

Other than that I had my fitting on Friday & it fits perfectly - she just had to replace the cups in the bust. I have pics & will post in my planning thread. I have my hair & nail appt on Wednesday, and I have to go to Zumba & tan...that's about it! Oh...and I still have to do my t-shirts too...I have them designed, and I picked up the tanks & shirts, just have to put them on!

OMG Tan...I have to tell you. I did a "test shirt" last night using the transfers you gave me...it turned out great! So I proceeded to print the other designs that I needed. I was about to put them on the shirts & realized I forgot to mirror the designs!!!! I was so PO'd!!! Now I have to go out & pick up a pack of transfers & get everything ready to do it again! I'm such an idiot!!! Grrrrrr!!!!

 

Oh...welcome to the thread Lisa!! Yes...I am definitely excited to get away from the weather! I'm freezing my ass off!!! LOL

Amanda/Tanya - did you guys use the Avery "stretchy" iron on transfers? I bought some of those at Staples last weekend. Havent had time to put them to use yet though. Wasnt sure which one's to buy... Anywho - I wont be around much this week, so good luck to all you guys flying out this weekend (Amanda, Christene and Ang... and whoever else I missed, sorry there's so many going this month) Cant wait to hear and see all about it ladies!!! The rest of us will be drowning in snow, Im sure.

Amanda ~ OHH that sucks! I forgot to tell you that if you are using MS Word you can change the print settings to print mirror images...that's too bad!!

 

You ladies are sooo close..I'm excited for you! I'll be thinking of you!!

 

So, I've been calling around to hotels to find a place to stay in London and the cheapest I could find is $270 for 5 days..not bad I guess but my goodness that's 1/4 of my monthly rent..yikes!! I don't want to stay anywhere really "cheap" looking either..I need to be sure I'm safe. What a joke!!

 

I'll be thinking of you ladies while you are soaking it up on the beach...wish I could be there!!

I'm just pumped! Only 4 days left. All done everything just have to make sure everything is packed and i haven't forgotten anything. Had my final fitting today and it went great....the dress is now home!!! Jenn's fit fairly good too ..she just needs to adjust the haulter and take it in..

Whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww its almost time!!!

Thanks ladies for all your excitement for us.

Are you kidding me Angela?? You're done!??! censored.gif I've still got so much to do!! I have to go for hair cut/color/trial updo, gel nails & pick up my dress tomorrow. I have to squeeze in a pedi somewhere - Friday is waxing night, I still have to go to staples & return the paper cutter I bought to make my welcome books (I know...I'm bad!) & get the iron-on transfers. Then I have to print the shirts (oh Tan...you did tell me, & I did it for the test one I just forgot to flip all the others before printing!) Oh...I have to go to the mall & get flip flops...I still have to track down a travel steamer.

OMG...I'm screwed!!! smile120.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
