I leave in 5 days for my wedding!!!  We are getting married next Saturday- lets hope it doesn't rain!!!  Any last minute things I should know about the resort or reminders on anything I should remember to bring?

Does anyone know if some of the pools are heated?

@@kellyrene we did not use the resort photographer, however, since we did have pictures included in our package I decided to have him take a few pictures at our dinner the night before the wedding. Ho

Hello again!

You will be surprised how little decoration you will need, it is so beautiful and the surroundings are great!  I used green and white cybidium (spelling orchids), Just bring pictures of everything, Yamina will find it and get for you :)  Also during the ceremony, we used the white clothes and candles.  Worked well.

 

We used my Ipod for the ceremony and created a playlist of songs, you could hear everything in the gaezbo.

This site is so helpful! I have been reading the reviews for weeks now and my wedding will not be until Sept 2012!!!

I have vacationed at this resort in 2009 & 2010 and LOVE it. I used to travel to Sandal resorts until I came to EPM! Everything is so modern & beautiful here. If anyone has any questions about the resort let me know.

I was wondering when everyone sent out their save the dates or did you just skip that & send out invites? I do have plenty of time but was wondering what you do for destination weddings.

Also, I have not booked anything because again I have time but I want to do it soon so I can give it to Yamina & save my date at EPM. Does anyone have a trustworthy travel agent that they used & would recommend? I am from PA but I plan on doing it all online or over the phone.

Congrats to all the new brides & soon to be brides and thanks for the helpful reads!

I'm just like you, I'm not getting married until July 2012. I'm going to do a "boarding pass" save the date and a "passport" style invitation. I found Allison Barnhill designs online and requested samples and they're amazing. Check out her website: http://allisonbarnhilldesigns.com/

 

We booked our recent trip to Mexico through Apple Vacations with a local travel agent, I think if you do something like Apple Vacations you can't go wrong.

 

I'm glad to hear that your stay at EPM was fab! I had several friends tell me that Sandals is overrated.

I recently visited EPM and was truly amazed! I've heard that Sandals is overrated.

 

I'm not getting married until July 2012. We booked our recent trip through a local apple vacations travel agent and she was awesome. That was my 2nd time using apple vacations and I would highly recommend them.

 

Also, I'm going to do a boarding pass style save the date and I found the cutest passport style invitations.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
