Question for Dream Cabo Girls about Menu!!!!!

I need help deciding on what to get for my apps. and dinner.....

 

Now my FI does not want to do a sit down type of meal for the reception, he can't stand only being able to pick one thing for everyone, he wants it to be buffet style but I have no idea what to pick for food. So I was hoping the girls that have gone and done taste testings would be able to tell me what is good.

 

Also, what apps. are you picking?

 

One more thing, since I was going to do a sit down I was going to give everyone a menu at there place setting but now with a buffet what should I do

We tasted these apps & will pick most of them: Spinach Quiche, Guacamole, Shrimp ceviche, mini tamales, mini tacos, chicken & cheese turnovers, sopes with mexican sausage, chili popper We are doing a Mexican buffet for our welcome dinner / rehearsal dinner. Let me know if you want me to send your our choices. For our wedding dinner, we are doing a sit down with plated dinner of Sea Bass & Pork Tenderloin. We decided on a plated dinner for the wedding since it will make the dinner go a little faster and give us more time for dancing and the party! One more thing, since I was going to do a sit down I was going to give everyone a menu at there place setting but now with a buffet what should I do Thanks for your help!!!!

Thanks girls for your advice! so the menu's at each place setting are out!! That is one less thing to do!!

 

I'm also doing the mexican theme dinner for our rehearsal/welcome dinner. I did not want a buffet again but oh well, anyways Mariana told me that I could pick off of the 3 buffet menus she sent me and create my own. So that is what I was wondering if any of you have tried any of the buffet foods. She said that we wouldn't be able to taste test it. The three buffet menus are the... Theme dinner BBQ, Mexican Theme, and Caribbean Theme.

 

So if you had to pick just three apps. what would you say were your favorite?

I don't think we tasted anything we didn't like, so is there something you had in mind that i could comment on?   Also, what apps. are you picking? We haven't decided yet. Or, I should say it's still under debate! Jeff wants to pick really wierd stuff and I'm trying to put my foot down...   One more thing, since I was going to do a sit down I was going to give everyone a menu at there place setting but now with a buffet what should I do You probably don't need to worry about it, especially since they should label everything on the buffet. If you absolutely WANT to do a menu (like I probably would, since I'm Miss DIY paper project queen...lol) I would do one per table.   Thanks for your help!!!!
