Post here if you are getting married in Las Vegas

Recommended Posts

Hello Every One

I am getting Married October 10 2010 in Las Vegas, at the Pahrump winery. I have the ceremony all figured out, but I am trying to figure out what to do for the reception, and Maggiano's is already booked. Does any one have any suggestions of a resturant on the strip, that is not very expensive, but nice. and has private rooms for a reception dinner? Any suggestions would be great.

Hiya. I am in the same situation as you lovely lot with regards to the reception venue!!

I'm staying at The Mirage, getting married at Little Church (or chapel - can't remember) of the West. We looked into having our dinner at BB Kings but decided against it as we have been to BB Kings in Orlando and remember the noise level being quite high (which is good if you want to party). We have decided to go to BB Kings after the dinner to dance the night away!!

Shay - please see attached information that they sent to me, incase you haven't got anything yet.
If you like BB Kings, then House of Blues is another option.

Attachment 4632 Can you tell me if you can open the attachment - bit of a technophobe!! what.gif

I am looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere, good food and good prices!!! We will have a party of about 25 so do not need a separate dining area - I think that might make it all a bit too formal anyway and I want everyone to relax and enjoy.

I got married at Mandalay Bay in October and had originally planned to get married outside by the waterfall area, but decided during a planning trip that it was too loud with the waterfalls and traffic on the street.

I am not sure about the beach wedding but their pool area is usually pretty busy during the summer, so I'm not sure how they would keep people from watching or being near the ceremony.

I worked with Alyssa and she was very helpful through the whole process, I bet if you just call them they can get you more info on how they do the beach weddings. I believe Mandalay Bay was the best deal for the money that I found at any of the hotels.

Hope this helps!

Amy

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
