As a favor to get my bridesmaid started on her photography career, she will be shooting my ttd session. She is a bit nervous as all her gear won't fit into a regular room safe.

Where do you store your equipment when you go to shoot a destination wedding?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Tell her to make sure she has insurance, that is the biggest step. She might be able to leave it in a storage room at the front desk. Sometimes in really nice hotels they have safety deposit boxes at the front desk for guests. Otherwise I would suggest she grin, bear it, and lug it all around with her. I'd suggest having an extra person tag along with you to help carry stuff and watch the equipment while she's shooting.

I would suggest she carries it with her. You can only legally take three lenses into Mexico, so it won't be SO much stuff... but I wouldn't trust any of my equipment in the room while I'm gone.
