What about you? Where are you having your ceremony?

PS: That's great you have 17 booked!! We have about 12 people who have booked flights but no room bookings yet. I wish they would hurry up!! haha :)
We are having the ceremony at Maria Reina de la Paz church. I cant wait! It such a beautiful church.

We actually have 29 guests booked so far and everyone has flights and rooms booked as well. The family is so anxious to go already.

I am laughing. I am an October bride and have been living on the forum. THen I was sent overseas for work for two weeks. Not only did I not get to play in my favorite forum for two weeks because of limited connectivity, but I came back and feel behind on my planning. I know it is not true, but not working on anything for two weeks is an amazing thing less than 6 months out.

Four months to go! Time is starting to go by so fast. Still on the list of things to do:

rings

dress alterations

ties and footwear for the guys

working on OOT bags/ favors

find someone to do hair/makeup

music

centerpiece/ dinner decorations

Other than that, I think most things are set! I was feeling really overwhelmed with things to do until I just made that list.

How is everyone else doing?

We have 18 people who RSVP'd yes so far, so 20 of us total as of now.

Hello Ladies...

I am also an October bride...10/15/09 at Gran Bahia Principe Coba in the Mayan Riviera...and it's coming sooooo quickly!! I read all of the posts of where people are at and I feel so behind!! There are also so many cool things to do (DIY projects, OOT bags) that I think I have taken on more than I ever expected with a DW.

Good luck and happy planning to everyone :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
