my reception site just told me I have to cover the candles-so my problem is that I already bought two of the three candles from the original plan I had regarding centerpices...so what should I do.

I already have the green candles which are about 6 inches tall and burgandy candles which are 4 inches tall.Click the image to open in full size.

I also bought silver chargers to put the centerpiece on...what to do what to do.

Can you buy a glass hurricane lamp that's open on the bottom and slip it over the centerpiece?

what if you put the candles in some hurricane vases...3 different heights...and do the ribbon and stuff on the outside of the vases instead of the candles themselves?

kinda like this, but yours would look much prettier (and the candles wouldn't be floating)

Christine, you might want to check out this site for hurricanes. I thought they had good prices when I was searching.

Christine I think Melissa's idea is the best. You should try to find the hurricane holders so that you can put them in that. It really sucks that they didn't tell you this earlier. But at least you still have some time to look for them.

well girls I have investigated the cost and buying three hurricanes is just out of my budget. So I am going to have to return the burgandy candles and chargers and do just one hurricane with the green candle in the middle and then grapes around that.
